Our primary tracking facility is large enough to swallow a whole band, yet small and quiet enough for the precision of voice-over or Foley work. The studio is well equipped with AEA, AKG, Blue, EV, Neuman, Oktava, Royer, Sage Electronics, Shure, and Sennheiser microphones into AMR, Focusrite, Great River, Langevin, Universal Audio, and Vintech mic preamps direct to RME A/D converters and Samplitude (PC based Multitrack). A Shure wireless in ear monitoring system with 6 independent mixes is available for tracking.

The studio was designed and built by the Audio Vortex with an emphasis on acoustical balance, accuracy, and an efficient work space. Applying this concept allows us to capture live sounds very accurately and lets the musician feel comfortable in a variety of situations. A complete wireless in ear monitor system with six independent mixes offer great flexibility. Or you can just play live in the room if that makes you more comfortable.

Our studios sound Wonderful!! This has been accomplished through the careful study and application of acoustical science, mathematics, and empirical research (human error). These studies helped spawn a family of products and techniques for diffusion and absorption of acoustic energy, and for controlling resonance.

Whether recording digitally to Samplitude via our high resolution RME A/D/A converters, or to our classic Otari analog tape decks, your multitrack recordings will sound exactly as you performed it!
